it is not hangovers - it is probably withdrawal symptoms if you're using them frequently. Opiates are extremely addicting and will cause your body to physically feel the lack of the drug once you do not have any in your system.
The pain killer you are taking may be whats giving you the hang over feeling
Use another brand.
haha your addicted..just kidding.
Rebound headaches from painkillers r common. Your body coming down off of the painkiller causes a headache, sometimes even worse than the one u took the medicine for in the first place. It most often occurs when someone over-uses painkillers, however, like in ur case, sometimes people r just sensitive to the medicine & so it happens to them too even though they only take the medicine occasionally.
If u need to take pain medication, start with the very lowest dose possible to see if that gets rid of ur pain rather than immediately taking the maximum dose. This way, hopefully, ur pain will go away with minimal medication & the chances of the rebound headache will also be minimized.
You may also want to switch painkillers & see if a different brand or type has a different effect on you. It is possible that you're sensitive to one & not to another.
Everything that can make you feel good is going to come back around and make you feel sad.
